Professional Tutor / Assistant Lab Manager

My duties as a professional tutor are the same as a student tutor (see below). As an assistant lab manager, I am responsible for directing the student workers, scheduling tutor appointments, and assisting students and staff with login and other technical issues.

As a tutor in the Applied Technology Center's Open Computer Lab, I am responsible for answering students' general questions, as well as 1-on-1 tutoring for specific classes. My primary specialty is tutoring programming courses.

I was brought into Arivium to perform unit testing on entity transformation logic (ETL) scripts generated by the Informatica ETL toolset. Once I proved a sufficient degree of mastery of Informatica, I was given the additional tasks of designing, developing, and tesing new Informatica scripts. I also had the opportunity to develop a front-end prototype for an information-gathering web site, using ASP.NET, C#, and LINQ.
